Hi, I’m Matthew Broude
Broude is pronounced like Brody, the only way that makes no sense for how it’s spelled.
I’m Director of Policy & Communications for Boston City Councilor At-Large Henry Santana; co-founded TQNC, a queer collective fostering queer joy, advocacy and arts for Greater Boston’s LGBTQIA+ and ally community; volunteer regularly in the shelter kitchen and serve on the Marketing Committee at St. Francis House Homeless Shelter; serve on the Leadership Team for the Downtown Boston Neighborhood Association; enjoy meandering walks around Boston (often on The Walking City Trail, which I’ve helped shape); and participate frequently in Boston civics.
Please connect with me if you share any of my priorities:
Ending homelessness in Boston
Increasing housing affordability
Decreasing economic & health disparities between BIPOC and white Bostonians
Ensuring LGBTQIA+ people in Greater Boston can safely exist as our whole selves
